Peter wanted to be different so he bought a leopard coat for himself one chilly Tuesday morning. When he came home with it, everyone was disgusted with it. Peter thought they'd like it. He was upset. He went into his room and cried and cried.
Davy came in moments later and said, "ey Petah.... Why are you crying?"
Peter sniffled. "You guys don't like my coat!" He let out a huge cry and fell into his pillow sobbing.
"Well, Petah, It is a bit outlandish. I mean look at it! It's leopard." Davy tried to coax Peter into returning the coat.
"Well... What if I told you you're girlfriend was ugly?!" Peter shot back meanly.
"She is not!"
"Well, if you think my coat's ugly and it has to go then I think you're girlfriend has to go!" Peter yelled back.
"Fine, I get rid of my girl if you get rid of that ugly coat!" Davy reasoned.
"Ok." Peter replied and promptly returned the coat and got his money back.
On the way home he noticed Davy's girlfriend sitting on her front stoop to her house crying.
"Hey Mandi, Why are you crying?" Peter walked up and asked.
"Oh hi Peter. Davy broke up with me. He said I was ugly." She let out a huge cry.
"Aw." He sat next to her. "You're not ugly." "I'm not?" she asked.
"No. Why I think you're the prettiest girl in the world!" Peter replied honestly.
"Oh Peter you always had a big heart." she hugged Peter feeling happier.
Peter felt good holding her. "Y'know Mandi. I always liked you."
"Really?" She asked.
"Yea." She smiled.
"So, what are you doing tonight?" Peter asked her.
"Nothing I guess."
"Would you like to go to the movies with me?" Peter smiled.
"Sure!" she replied. He told her he'd pick her up at seven and went home.
He ran into the house happily.
"Did you return that coat?!" Davy asked.
"Yup." Peter, knowing very well about his next question, decided to ask anyway. "Did you dump Mandi?"
"Yup."
"Good. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a date tonight." Peter replied.
"Peter? a date?" Micky questioned.
"Yea. I'm going out with Mandi." Peter replied, smiled, and went into his bedroom to get ready for the date. This just goes to show, Peter was not as dumb as he looked. If he wanted something, he knew how to go about getting it.
The end.
