Davy wandered down the beach one early chilly morning. He did this every day for the past 2 years he's been living at the beach. He wondered everything he could wonder there, being free to think. As he was walking, he came across a girl who was sobbing sitting in the cold sand. Davy decided to ask her what was wrong.

"'ey, You ok?" He asked, sitting down next to her.

She sniffled and didn't answer.

Davy put his arm around her shoulder.

"ey, is everything ok?" He asked again sympathetically.

She sniffled again. Davy pushed her dark hair back, revealing a pretty face.

"No." She sobbed. "No. I'm not ok."

"Well, what's wrong? Maybe I can help?" Davy said, wiping her tears away.

"Well, I doubt it.." She started.

"ey. What's your name? Mine's Davy."

"Mandi"

"Mandi? ah, a pretty name for a pretty girl." He replied.

"You really think so?" She questioned.

"Sure. Ya look like a groovy girl."

"Really?"

"Yah, 'ey...." Davy thought. "Would you go out with me, pretty Mandi?"

She stopped crying. Even though he didn't know it, he solved her problem.

"Sure! She replied happily.

"Ok, great!" Davy smiled. Mandi did the same.

"Ok, so i'll pick y up around 6?"

"You bet!"

"Uh, jes out of curiosity, what was your problem?" Davy questioned, concerned.

"It doesn't matter now." Mandi replied, standing up.

Davy scratched his head. They said their goodbyes and couldnt wait to see each other at 6.
